Our China project is based in Yangshou, a stunning karst mountainous region, situated along the beautiful Li River. Adventures For Students works alongside local schools and community centres to provide international students an amazing opportunity to embrace local tradition and culture. Our China programmes features childcare projects, teaching projects, renovation projects as well as cultural exchange lessons. A typical China expedition is typically broken down into two separate weeks. Week one will be primarily voluntary based projects, with local sight visits and cultural opportunities amongst the evening and night activities and week two will be your opportunity to explore a lot more of the nation's wonders including a tour of Beijing and a visit to the Great Wall!
"The China trip was an amazing experience, it's very culturally exciting and I loved the volunteering project"
Our China programme is ran by one of our highly trained in-country co-ordinators, James - who will guide you through every step of your true China experience, along with our Chinese-English speaking translators who will assist you 24 / 7 with any issues that may arise whilst in-country. Adventures For Students is committed to establishing long-term beneficial projects across all of the countries we operate within, which is why we have set up Yangshou as our main base of operation year-round for voluntary projects.
